Noragami_Nora Step by Step

This is the step by step process of my Nora piece. I wanted to make it into a gif, but there were some errors in that and somehow it turned very glitchy (?). So I decided to do it this way instead. This is one of the 2 ways of paintings I follow.

Initially, I make a rough sketch and paint the base colors in a layer under that sketch layer. Then I start to improvise (sort of) and as you can see, the result of each step is different from the other, in some ways, especially the face. I usually paint such pieces in about a week or so. I take so much time because each day, I view the painting differently and it helps to give new ideas and points out mistakes I couldn't see before.
